MNSC – Recent Works in Kuching
mnsc architects was formed by Ming Ngi and SuhChee on August 2013; who have a deep passion for modernist architecture that creates dialogues between people and place. They share a vision to explore design possibilities and craft architectural outcomes that are meaningful for both their clients and the community. MNSC, whether as individuals or a team, have been very hands-on with their projects which ensure continual refinement of the ideas and building quality.
Wong Siew Ling – arCHITECTURE that really matters
wong siew ling is a practising architect with an interest in building communities, where his interests range from mentoring the Boy’s Brigade to building houses with Habitat for Humanity to building with the Penans in Pa’adang, which he will share with us in his talk.
Tetawowe Atelier – Keynote Speaker
tetawowe atelier is a young and dynamic design firm specialized in creating design narratives; what is thought to be raw materials taken from the site’s existing rain trees, the geometrical shape of a site that is reminiscent of Miro’s artwork, the way the owners would spend their lazy afternoon, birds on the wire, dialogues between the river and passers-by, a Beatles song, a banal job site depicted in a kafkan dreamlike space – has been the source of inspiration for our design.
