Update 18 April 2012 : The Schedule has been changed and the Workshop sessions are now conducted every Wednesday evening, 7:30pm onwards (unless otherwise stated).

The Graduates Sub-committee, with the full support from PAMSC is organising workshops for LAM Part3 exam candidates.

Experienced architects, including Ar. Chew Chung Yee, Ar. Ng Chee Wee & Ar. Michael Wong, have volunteered to assist in these workshops. They hope to share some tips, insights and their experience from being past examiners and attending LAM Part3 workshops in KL.

The Sub-committee intends also to invite the candidates who have recently passed to share their study tips, notes and advice during these workshops.

LAM Pt3 exams workshop sessions will be conducted at PAMSC centre at Queen’s Court on every WEDNESDAY evenings, 7:30pm onwards (unless otherwise stated).

PAMSC organized a Study Tour to Taipei, Taiwan from 25th February to 1st March 2012. Around 20 PAMSC Members, spouses and friends joined the Tour. There are lots of interesting experiences and anecdotes to share, so we are organizing a Post Taipei Gathering for those who have joined the Tour as well as any other Members who are interested. Please come to share some drinks, tit bits and fun !

This CPD will examine the roles and responsibilities of the Architect under the Housing Development Act (Act 118 Peninsular Malaysia 2007) and the Sarawak Housing Ordinance (1993) and related regulations. It will cover an overview of the two sets of laws in force in West Malaysia and Sarawak and point out the major differences. A brief outline of the certification process under the housing acts and ordinances and the management of quality in relation to this certification is reviewed. Managing common defects and complaint is also considered.
