SYNOPSIS OF PRESENTATION
Green has been in vogue since the earliest Architectural works. With increasing focus on form and iconic design, many modern buildings have increasingly depended on available technology to create their desired indoor environment. With the recent increasing awareness of the roles buildings play in contributing to green-house gases, there has been a refocus on “environmentally friendly” architecture. There are many differing views of what constitute green design. The key components of what constitutes green design and “environmental friendly” design is first reviewed. Some key principles of passive green architecture are explored.
